Joanne Ziemba, DVM

Dr. JoAnne Ziemba grew up in central New York. After completing her undergraduate dual major in biochemistry and molecular biology in three years at Wells College, she went on to veterinary school at Cornell University. She started at Greylock Animal Hospital after graduating from Cornell in 2003. She volunteered her veterinary skills at Berkshire Humane Society for several years and helped coordinate and run the Greylock Animal Stray and Wildlife Fund. Dr. Ziemba is nationally accredited by the USDA to help ensure the health of our cat and dog population and to protect public health. Additionally, she is a member of the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care, a group of veterinarians committed to helping patients with comfort-oriented care as they approach the end of their lives.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three kids, two dogs, and several chickens. After hours, she can often be found at the Ziemba family dairy farm in Adams, MA.
